Strive HI Performance System
"The Strive HI Performance System was designed to account for all these factors in student success. To implement it, the state took advantage of the U.S. Department of Education's (USDOE) opportunity to apply for a waiver from certain requirements of the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB)" (Hawaii DOE 2017).
College and Career Readiness Indicators
"The College and Career Readiness Indicators Report (CCRI) has been developed through Hawai‘i P-20 in partnership with the Hawai‘i State Department of Education (HIDOE) and the University of Hawai‘i (UH). This report presents information on how well Hawai‘i’s graduates are prepared to meet the HIDOE’s Vision of a High School Graduate" (P20Hawaii.org 2017).
School Status Improvement Report
"One of several major accountability reports produced annually by the DOE, the School Status & Improvement Report (SSIR) addresses standard-based education reporting requirements in §302A-1004, Hawaii Revised Statutes. Each school report contains a description of the school and its setting, a summary of school improvement progress, available resources, and vital signs on school performance" (ARCH 2017)
School Quality Survey Report
"The School Quality Survey (SQS) is a DOE-administered survey that asks students, parents, teachers, administrative and office staff, and instructional support staff for their opinions of school quality" (ARCH 2017).
"The Trend Report: Educational and Fiscal Accountability provides three years of trend data on school, complex, and State performance at selected benchmark grade levels with performance indicators in areas relating to student achievement, safety and well being, and civic responsibility" (ARCH 2017)
